Askia Collection

The Askia collection celebrates the great Askia Empire of ancient Africa. The collection is honoring the African tradition of gathering teas bushes, herbs, fruits and spices that invigorate and heal the body.
Think of sunny African mornings with the Dahomey Tea, amazing afternoons with a cup of Askum Smoked Tea and an enlightened evening enjoying Madiba Chocolate Chai Tea. An uplifting and brightening collection of teas that makes for a delicious tea time discovery.  At its peak the Askia Empire encompassed the Hausa states as far as Kano (in present-day Nigeria) and much of the territory that had belonged to the Mali Empire in the west of Africa.
